HOTEL - Do you need a hotel room during your Symposium stay? Our room block at the Doubletree Lloyd Center Hotel in Portland is only $99 per night. Rooms may be reserved by calling the hotel directly (503-281-6111) and telling the reservations agent that you are attending the Oregon Cardiovascular Symposium or, click here to be directed to a personalized hotel reservation site for the Symposium. MAINTENANCE OF CERTIFICATION (MOC) PROGRAM - If you’re an ABIM diplomate holding valid time-limited certificates—that is, you’re certified in 1990 or thereafter —then you’re required to enroll and participate in MOC in order to maintain your certification. This MOC course is a first for Oregon, convenient for certified cardiologists, and offers registrants the easiest way to receive a large number of educational points toward your recertification. Saturday, you can attend the Symposium’s premiere educational sessions. Then, Sunday morning, you can attend the Maintenance of Certification Course…and earn up to 20 of the required 100 points for your certificate—all for the same Symposium registration fee.
